Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using the Bob automated review response software-as-a-service ("Service"), provided to you by Bob ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bob is an artificial intelligence-powered software-as-a-service that connects securely to your Google Business Profile to automatically generate and publish responses to customer reviews in your customized brand voice. Bob accesses your historical review replies to learn your style, tone, and formatting, maintaining brand consistency across all of your registered locations.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including features, databases, or content, with or without notice to you.

3. Account Registration & Security

To utilize Bob, you must create a secure user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to maintain the security of your account credentials. You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or security breaches.

We use Supabase for secure user authentication and database management, ensuring industry-standard security safeguards are applied to protect your account metadata.

4. Billing, Pricing & Subscriptions

Subscription Rate: Bob is billed on a flat-rate monthly subscription of $125.00 USD. This flat rate covers unlimited review replies and all of your connected Google Business Profile locations associated with a single user account.

Billing Cycle & Payment: Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring monthly cycle starting on the date of your signup. Payments are processed securely via our third-party billing provider, Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorize us to charge the flat-rate fee automatically each month.

No Lock-In Contract & Cancellations: Bob operates on a flexible, month-to-month basis. There are no lock-in contracts, setup fees, or hidden cancellation charges. You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time directly from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your service will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for mid-cycle cancellations.

5. Google Business Profile API Integration

To provide review responses, the Service requires secure, authenticated integration with your Google Business Profile using Google OAuth and authorized Google Business Profile APIs. By linking your profile, you grant Bob explicit permission to:

• Read and monitor incoming Google Business reviews.
• Retrieve historical reviews and responses to train the personalized AI agent in your voice.
• Publish generated responses directly to your Google Business Profile.

You retain absolute ownership of all content published to your Google profile. You may revoke Bob's API permissions at any time via the Google account security settings or by unlinking your location in the Bob dashboard.

6. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You are responsible for monitoring the responses posted by Bob. While our advanced generative models are designed to align tightly with your voice and handle customer complaints with extreme care, AI-generated content can occasionally deviate. You can utilize the dashboard to:

1. Pause automatic replies for specific locations at any time.
2. Adjust voice guidelines, greetings, and special instructions.
3. Enable manual review gates for low-rating or highly sensitive reviews.

You agree not to use the Service to publish replies that are illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or intended to harass any individual. We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these standards.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its logo, user interface, brand assets, site copy, underlying technology, and proprietary AI instruction sets, is the sole property of Bob and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service in connection with your business operations under an active paid subscription.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Bob DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH FUTURE GOOGLE BUSINESS PROFILE API UPDATES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

IN NO EVENT SHALL Bob, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR GOOGLE ACCOUNT SUSPENSIONS STEMMING FROM AUTOMATED REPLIES POSTED BY THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO Bob IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have breached these Terms, failed to pay subscription dues, or engaged in activities that represent a legal risk to Bob or our infrastructure.
